Position:
Music Sales Representative / Account Representative
full time position / approx. 8-5pm, Monday through Friday

Company:
wholesale distributor has been in business over 25 years
western Long Island, NY location (Nassau/Queens border)

Job Description:
service existing accounts as well as establishing new accounts
provide feedback to Sales Manager

Salary + Benefits:
salary + commission (salary based on experience and/or requirements filled)
health, dental, life, 401K, vacation time, discounts, and more
neat casual attire (no suit and ties)

Requirements:
strong knowledge of house/dance and urban (hip hop/r&b) music required
basic computer skills required
must be aggressive, organized, reliable, willing to work to make some money
must have dependable transportation
good phone & communication skills

Optional/desired skills, but not necessary:
bilingual
knowledge of DJ equipment and emerging DJ technologies
knowledge of AS400 workstation program (would be a big plus)
knowledge of Lotus Notes, MS Excel, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
prior music/DVD wholesale sales or music/DVD retail sales experience (would be a big plus)
